He has also written award-winning children's books that provide science-based parenting and health guidance for families of infants and young children including Sherm the Germ and the Love Baby Healthy series, while encouraging fun and nurturing home reading routines. Maria Montag is an artist and creator in multiple media. A graduate of Miami University, her sense of adventure has brought her as far as New Zealand where she met her husband Trev. They reside in Cincinnati Ohio, building their dream of a sustainable lifestyle for their future family. The original Sherm the Germ was Maria's debut as a children's book illustrator.
